To relieve the economic burden and assist those without access to affordable health care, JMP–L offers subsidized medications, assistance for hospitalization, and financial assistance for hospital fees, dental care, and other medical services.
Medical assistance is mainly offered to individuals who have no social and medical security coverage, and to elderly and chronically sick people.
These services are rendered by professional guidance, counseling, and referrals to other public or private medical institutions when needed. Experienced health consultants supervise the right usage of the medications. Our health services thus have not only curative, but also preventative effects, in the sense that they help prevent further health complications.
Along with the provision of medical assistance, JMP–L encourages community members to participate in health education workshops (organized by us or our partners) that focus on preventative care and awareness raising on health issues.
