With the aim of providing a developmental approach to relief programs, JMP–L organized an Easter gathering for the elderly beneficiaries, on April 8, 2010, on JMP–L premises.
The program included spiritual uplift and entertainment. Father Oshin Kevorkian spoke to the elderly about Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. Then, the elderly listened to Armenian national songs performed by a volunteer and poems written about JMP and elderly life. An Easter egg-cracking game took place and the winner received a gift.
The event was marked by the active participation of a group of volunteers from JMP–L’s Medication Dispensing Service. They prepared and served the meal to the elderly.
